Jack De Raad | Managing Director, Kroll

Jack De Raad is a managing director in the Business Intelligence and Investigations practice, based in the Amsterdam office. Jack, a qualified Chartered Accountant, is an authority on tax and compliance regimes, as well as cross-border fraud investigations and disputes across the public and private sectors. As part of his global forensic advisory work, Jack has acted as an expert witness in high-stakes matters in diverse judicial settings, including the International Criminal Court (ICC) and Dutch and U.S. courts.

Brechje Nollen | Partner, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer

Brechje advises both international and Dutch clients on the legal and practical aspects of dealing with employees in the Netherlands.

This includes matters such as the hiring and firing of staff, remuneration, pension matters, co-determination, collective bargaining agreements, collective redundancies and restrictive covenants.

Her areas of business include advisory and contentious work, and individual classic employment matters. She also advises on the employment and pensions aspects of (cross-border) M&A transactions – both in the period leading up to the transaction and post-integration.
She works for clients in a wide variety of sectors including energy, healthcare, media, consumer products, automotive, leisure and financial institutions.

Brechje has always worked in international law firms and has a long history of acting in a worldwide context. As a result, she understands the different mindsets and cultures of clients across jurisdictions, as well as their needs and concerns from a broader commercial perspective.
She worked for Clifford Chance from 1995 to 2002, when Brechje joined Freshfields to set up the people and reward group in the Amsterdam office. Since then, she has developed it from a one-woman practice into a team of six full-time employment and pensions lawyers.

Frank has 30 years of working experience with whistleblower management. He is a subject matter expert on financial crime investigations, -technology and -regulatory compliance. As an independent consultant on whistleblowing management he performs gap analysis, provides process and platform implementation support and helps to prepare for certifications.

The confidential reporting network that he co-founded provides a fast-global access to back up service providers. Frank is a former big 4 forensic audit partner and the honorary President of the Belgian Institute for Fraud Auditors.

Evert Jan Lammers RA RFA studied economics and accountancy and is a Registered Fraud Auditor. He started his career in 1985 as a Trainee-Senior Manager at KPMG The Netherlands. In 2001, he initiated the professional federation Institute of Fraud Auditors of which he is honorary chairman. For many years he was involved in the Masterclass Fraud Auditing programme at Antwerp Management School, where he was Executive Professor and Academic Director. Since 2015, he has been a board member of Transparency International Belgium. Since 2020 he is Local research correspondent on corruption for the European Commission in Belgium.
