She holds a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver, along with CCEP and LPEC certifications. When she’s not working , Steph recharges outdoors—often found camping, biking, or snowboarding in the Colorado mountains.

With a background spanning management consulting at PwC, operations leadership, and compliance program design, she brings a cross-functional perspective to building scalable compliance frameworks. Since joining Meta in 2019, Mia has been a vocal advocate for AI-native approaches to compliance operations. She holds a degree from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.

Associate General Counsel and Director of Business Conduct and Ethics | Amazon

Yousri Omar is Associate General Counsel and Director of Business Conduct and Ethics at Amazon, where he leads a global team of 40 lawyers and legal professionals responsible for Amazon’s ethics and compliance program. He brings expertise in complex internal investigations, anti-corruption compliance, and applying technology to reduce corporate risk. Prior to joining Amazon in 2015, Yousri was a Senior Associate at Vinson & Elkins in Washington, DC, focusing on white-collar criminal defense and FCPA matters. He holds a BS in Finance and a BA in International Studies from Virginia Tech, and a JD from Washington and Lee University School of Law.
